This is very unique for us. It was Rahul’s (his) first game back from injury, so for him to make a century under these circumstances was really amazing. Naturally, Virat Bhai also reached his century and 13000 runs, demonstrating his tremendous inspiration to all of us. The ball was moving around a little bit in the early going, and they bowled well with the new ball, but we needed to take them on and get rid of the bad deliveries to put the pressure back on them. Shaheen was attempting to attack the wickets, and yesterday, I believe I was trying to demonstrate my intent.

There is some seam movement, and as the ball ages, we must alternate between faster and slower plays. I found it challenging when they switched up their length and tempo.
Without Haris Rauf, who was sidelined due to an injury, Pakistan was hampered today.
