- India co-hosted the tournament with Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
- While they reached the semi-finals, they were overcome by Sri Lanka, who ultimately clinched the championship.
1999 – England:
- India reached the Super Six stage but did not advance to the semi-finals.
2003 – South Africa, Zimbabwe, & Kenya:
- Under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly, India made it to the final.
- They secured the runners-up position, falling to Australia in the final match.
2007 – West Indies:
- India’s performance was disappointing, resulting in elimination during the group stage.
2011 – India, Sri Lanka, & Bangladesh:
- India co-hosted the tournament with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

2015 – Australia & New Zealand:
